Riding high on long willowy stems, Tulip 'Mariette' is a fascinating lily-flowered tulip with deep satin rose, slightly reflexed, pointed petals contrasting with their white base. Blooming in the late Spring garden, this tulip provides an elegant and graceful display.
We highly recommend planting beside a contrasting colour for maximum effect. Plant 10-15cm deep in well-drained, fertile soil and choose a sunny location, or partial shade. This variety reaches 50cm and boasts a sturdy stem, but choose a wind-sheltered position where possible to avoid damage.
