Setanta Maincrop Seed Potatoes
Limited stock so order early. This is the first time in 3 years that we have been able to get Setanta.
A very high dry matter potato with good resistance to blight. Setanta seed potatoes are an Irish variety using Rooster as one of its parent varieties. It is excellent for roasting, baking and chipping owing to its high dry matter. We think taste is one of the best for floury potatoes.
Yields are large with beautiful oval red skinned tubers with a creamy yellow flesh. As well as being resistant to blight Setanta also has a reputation of being drought hardy and relatively pest and disease free. Keeps very well in storage, a very good choice for the home organic grower. Love it.

We sell seed potatoes in 2 Pack Size s, with 2kg tuber packs to 10kg sacks. There are approx. 10-15 tubers per kg.
