Before stocking furniture, we make sure that all our suppliers meet our environmentally friendly standards, and that all timber used is FSC certified. FSC stands for the Forestry Stewardship Council. They ensure that certified manufacturers use timber from sustainable, responsibly managed forests. Our furniture suppliers follow a sustainability pledge and use only this responsibly sourced wood in their garden furniture. Timber is pressure treated to protect the wood from rot and make it last longer in an outdoor setting. Most of the wooden garden furniture we sell has a 10-year guarantee against rot.
